‘The Tao of Tea’ is a pure leaf tea company based in Portland, Oregon. Back in the day, ‘The Tao of Tea’ used a custom PHP website that was built from scratch. As the company grew, they needed this website to become more than just their digital presence. They needed:
 

• A simple way to manage the website 
• Quicker addition of new features 
• A reliable eCommerce system that supports their business efforts

Going ahead with WordPress and WooCommerce was a complete no-brainer! WordPress, enables easy site set up and administration for novice users, while WooCommerce helps build a comprehensive eCommerce solution. 

Before we got to the fun part of building a full-fledged eCommerce website, we were to ensure a smooth migration of over 1,500 products, 23,000 registered users, and data of 47,000 placed orders to WordPress. 

Once we migrated all the data and had all the basics set up, the best way forward was to build one module of this eCommerce site at a time.

There’s a reason we’re such huge fans of WordPress & WooCommerce. It’s in-built features and extensions helped us easily set up and deliver a comprehensive eCommerce system to The Tao of Tea. 

What we admire most about working with this client is that they’re committed to making sure their site is always at its best, as any growing eCommerce business should. We certainly love being a part of their inspiring journey as they go onwards and upwards!

Modular Homes – a ‘go to’ resource for home buyers – reached out to us, to revamp their existing website. A primary lead source, their website needed contemporary and sophisticated designs. The client had a clear idea of changes needed and approached us with design templates. Based on the client’s requirements, we recommended Listify as a suitable platform.

The website containted three major sections:
 

• Homes
• Manufacturers
• Retailers

Each section was woven into Listify using custom-coded post types. We developed meticulous, visually stimulating templates in-line with the client’s designs. The default search on Listify was overhauled to add custom filters to refine and aid potential home buyers.

Powermeals was founded in 2020 with the goal of bringing delicious, healthy cuisine to a wider audience in Switzerland. They prepare delicious meals and deliver them right to your door.

We redesigned the WooCommerce Products to enable users with flexible subscription payment choices in order for their unique delivery mechanism to work. Users can choose their preferred meal plan and diet options such as meal plan variant, number of meals, and meal delivery date.

We also gave customers the ability to change the delivery day, skip a delivery or weeks between deliveries, pause or cancel the subscription, change the meal plan, and so on. To avoid food waste, the opportunity to reschedule or skip the delivery date was limited to 6 days prior to delivery.

The Meat Club, the Home of the Conscious Carnivore, is a Singapore-based online butcher that specialises in high-quality meats.

The Meat Club was in the middle of updating the appearance and feel of their WooCommerce website. Once the new design was complete, they wanted assistance in transitioning all of their users to the new website. This is where we entered the picture. From the old website to the new one, we assisted them in exporting and importing all of their active WooCommerce subscriptions and one-time purchases.

They were also able to clean up their database as a result of this. As a result, we built a script to move only the last six months' worth of order data (active subscriptions and one-time purchases) from the old website. During the migration process, all user profiles/accounts were generated, and old products were replaced with the new product on the system.

Two Of A Kind is a Singapore-based eye care company that strives to make eye health simple, personal, and enjoyable. They sell contact lenses and offer subscriptions for bulk orders of disposable contact lenses.

With WooCommerce, we assisted them in creating a personalised subscription model. We created several sleeve goods based on the user's choices of subscription frequency, left and right eye power, and subscription term on an a-la-carte/subscription product selection page. We created a script to assist in calculating costs based on the attributes chosen.

We also assisted them with the migration of their existing items to the new product bundles model.

The customized product pages were designed to work well on both desktop and mobile devices.
