Our client is a renowned global brand specializing in medical skin imaging systems.

The project:

Leobit helped a European skin imaging system company enhance its existing application for skin change detection and develop a new kiosk app that would work with the company’s hardware. Our skilled developers performed refactoring and made architectural code changes to ensure the code works simultaneously in two applications without causing any disruptions.

Sportif AS is a consulting company based in Bergen, Norway. Their main focus is on the commercialization of sports broadcasting rights, event planning, and project management. They specialize in finding digital solutions for public health issues.

The project: 

Fitness Solution With Gamification Elements.

Business challenge:

Despite the growing number of fitness apps and readily available gyms, many people choose to stay at home leading the sedentary lifestyle. This results in numerous diseases that escalate healthcare costs both on the state-level and for employers.  Since many initiatives related to the financial incentives for physical activity appeared to be useless, Sportif AS together with governmental bodies were looking for an engaging interactive tech solution that would help to solve the problem.

What’s more, the planned application needed to attract additional investment to support the existing healthcare campaign. The popularity and positive user statistics of the app would facilitate fundraising. And since this was the winter project,the application needed to be released within a limited timeframe. Leobit’s team faced the challenge associated with asynchronous processing of odds during the sports events in real-time. In gambling, winning equals the original players’ wagers multiplied by coefficients that are changing fast. Our experts had to process a queue of gambling data in parallel, and they came up with the solution to use the Redis database to handle asynchronous tasks. Raw event stream of Redis prevents timeouts and powers interactive, customized campaigns during real-time in-game events.

Results: 

A complex iGaming platform with unique features created by Leobit’s team increased the number of Arcanebet active clients by 50%. Our software engineers extended Arcanebet business opportunities developing the online casino part of the platform from scratch.  It had immense success among the company’s customers and boosted website traffic by 100,000+ monthly visits.

B2B Payment Solution For Online Transactions.

Business challenge:

While working on integrating the leading payment gateway providers (Stripe, CyberSource, MerchantWarrior, etc.), Leobit experts faced these challenges:

- to provide seamless integration at an international level and not to incur a penalty. It was necessary to meet the strict compliance requirements of each payment provider

- to guarantee secure transactions and reliable, sensitive data collection, all operations should be performed according to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).

Helped by Leobit, the customer company, received PCI DSS Level 1 Certification. It allowed Leobit developers to conduct all integrations under international data security standards. Our experts also used the SFTP file transfer protocol for data protection throughout file transfer operations to exclude any card fraud activity. AWS Key Management Service was used for data encryption.

Results: 

Within the first three months of partnership with Leobit, our customer released an early version of their clients’ product ready for use. After all, the implemented integrations companies that use this payment solution can convert more users, offering them preferred payment options and decreasing cart abandonment at the final purchase stages.

A SaaS company and marketplace network based in London that is revolutionizing B2B jewelry commerce.

Business challenge: 

The platform’s digital catalogue contains over 100,000+ products and the search process can take a lot of time. To make it the most convenient and simple for the buyers, Leobit’s experts used Google Vision API Product Search and performed integration with Google Machine Learning Service. 

The biggest challenge was to keep synchronized huge data sets between Google Cloud and AWS platform. Leobit’s developers created an adapter that converts Google responses and sends SQL queries to the system database and keeps synced both blob storages. They also added a recommendation cashing layer to optimize waiting time and reduce load from the Machine Learning microservice.

We also had to figure out how to improve the performance of real-time price calculations. Our developers used Apache Ignite, a distributed in-memory cache, for efficient processing of cached data and accelerated real-time price calculations at 8 times.

Another challenge was to build a self-made real-time scalable and flexible activity tracking. Leobit’s experts created a self-made solution, which enables to receive information about user actions in the system in real time.

After the first eight months of cooperation with Leobit, the customer’s platform was ready to host a 2-day virtual trade event. The digital jewellery exhibition was visited by over 5000+ visitors. Leobit’s customer stopped collaborating with the previous vendor because of the software’s quality and failure to meet deadlines. The customer understood potential financial loss, so they had to continue development as soon as possible. Leobit easily met the customer’s requirements as our experts already have experience in financial software engineering and development. According to the initial business plan, our team took over the backlog tasks after the customer’s previous vendor and scheduled the launch date.

The project: 

Our client’s supply chain financing solution aims to shift all payment risks to debtors, typically large companies, thereby eliminating common supplier-related risks found in traditional factoring and invoice discounting processes. From the supplier’s perspective, this solution offers invoice financing at similar or better rates than banks, with the added benefit of streamlined processes and no binding contracts.

Business challenge: 

The customer had an in-house development team. However, due to the complex nature of the project, they lacked the expertise needed to further develop the project, address challenges, and plan project architecture to support future growth. Certain parts of the project required rebuilding from scratch, while others needed enhancements, fixes, and architecture changes. A successful mortgage transaction requires the involvement of a number of different entities and their seamless integration. The financial platform must connect in a mortgage broker, a real estate agent, an insurer, a credit reporting agency, and many more. The technology system for such complex financial transactions is built with a layered approach, with the ability to omit or add custom layers or steps into the pipeline for certain operations. Our experts had to modify the top layers, ensuring compatibility with layers beneath. The customer previously had another outsourcing partner who delivered a poor-quality codebase and exhausted the customer’s budget. The Leobit team came up with the idea to slightly reorganize existing interaction points and wrap up legacy code into a separate unit. The client needed severe changes to stay ahead of competitors and occupy its niche. Leobit developers used Flutter framework powered by Dart programming language, backed up by Google. It allows to create cross-platform applications with cheaper and easier app maintenance and significantly reduced costs as there is no need to hire two development teams (iOS and Android).

Business challenge: 

The client approached Leobit with an unstable app version developed by other outsourcing vendors. The architecture and codebase needed to be structured, updated and improved.

The project:

All elements of the project from architecture to design are developed by our team. The development of a system that enables users to book a hospital, a message with doctors in real-time, pay for appointments, search for information about clinics and medical professionals.

Business challenge:

Project consists of Android, iOS and Web apps.

Mobile apps was created for users with the main purpose to register, search clinics/clinicians, book appointment, pay for it (feature is possible using Stripe 3rd party), message with doctors and clinics (real-time chatting).

Web application is created for admins and clinicians.
